Why do we ask for personal information on our enrollment forms?

The personal data collected by Peacock Tree Yoga at the time of booking either a class or a workshop is for the purposes of meeting Insurance Company criteria as well as for your health and safety. Health and lifestyle information is also used to tailor sessions to suit your individual needs.

What will you do with my contact details?

With your permission, we also use your email address and mobile number to occasionally let you know about Peacock Tree Yoga events and promotions (we ask you to state your preference by filling in the tick box section beneath your contact details on our enrollment form).

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by replying to our emails and/or texts with the word ‘UNSUBSCRIBE’. Please be aware that we will continue to use your contact details for the purposes of communicating with you about any classes or workshops you have already signed up for.

What else do you do with my personal details?

All information gathered by Peacock Tree Yoga either on paper or via email is stored safely, treated as confidential, and not shared with a third party. Peacock Tree Yoga’s Insurance Company requests that we keep a record of our customer’s data and registrations for seven years after their last class with the school. Once this period has elapsed, your data is destroyed.

I have some concerns – who do I contact?

We would encourage you to contact us in the first instance – we care about your peace of mind and want to minimise your stress (we’re a yoga school, after all!).
