Yoga is a practice; the more you do it, the better the results you see. Our online yoga classes are ideal for enhancing your routine – and helping you to reach your fitness and flexibility goals.

Take a live class or pick a practice from our extensive library of pre-recorded videos. When you become a member of one of our yoga studios, you get access to all our virtual sessions at no extra cost. We also offer online only membership for anyone unable to make it face-to-face or living outside the York area.

live Mondays 7 – 7.20am

Start your Mondays strong with this perfectly timed and wholly accessible online yoga class. Designed to set you up for a stellar week, rise & shine is a perfectly compact practice. Open to all levels, including complete beginners, we focus on the yoga fundamentals of breathing, stretching and posture work. You’ll feel refreshed and ready to take on the day. 

Our rise & shine classes are a wonderful way for the Peacock Tree community to come together in one place on a Monday morning. We can’t wait to see you there!

ashtanga express

live Fridays 7 – 7.30am

Kickstart your weekend with a shot of prana (lifeforce energy)! Ashtanga express is a dynamic short form yoga sequence inspired by the traditional ashtanga primary series. This class moves at a fast pace, leaving you feeling invigorated and energised for the day ahead.  

Ashtanga express classes are ideal if you’re practising yoga at an intermediate level (if you’re able to hold a headstand for at least 30 seconds and are ready to work on backbends, such as a full wheel). They’re also open to brave improvers, as there are always options for you to modify poses.

ashtanga fusion masterclass

Our monthly ashtanga fusion masterclasses offer a fast and energising flow. Based on a shortened variation of the ashtanga primary series, you’ll move through a set of postures linked by short sequences known as vinyasas. Each movement is synchronised with an inhale or exhale.

Ashtanga is a vigorous style of yoga. It is best suited to you if you have a high level of fitness. Maybe you’re a runner, do cross fit, love hiking and climbing or are training for a triathlon? You’ll also enjoy the masterclasses if you’re at an intermediate level of yoga.
